Job Description

We're hiring a Program Chef to lead our work with Encore Community Services (Encore) in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the foodservice program within budgeted guidelines and highest food safety standards.
  • Develop production schedules, staff schedules, and kitchen organization systems.
  • Procure ingredients, develop recipes, and implement menu plans.
  • Train staff, monitor operations, and maintain records.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional cooking experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • ServSafe Manager certified or ability to obtain certification.
