Job Description

Join our team at Independence High School and Mt. Pleasant High School as a Head Counselor. You will be responsible for providing counseling services to students and coordinating various guidance activities.

Responsibilities

Meet with guidance SAC and other head counselors
Coordinate major testing programs
Assist in planning and coordinating student scheduling
Provide in-service help to new counselors
Supervise counseling files and summer counseling

Qualifications

Valid California teaching credential
Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential for School Counseling
Three years of service as a high school counselor recommended
