Job Description

TownTasks is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling merchandise, stack and arrange products, and pack items into containers, crates, boxes and carton for shipping or storage.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting and receiving orders for outgoing shipments; using computer inventory and shipping programs as required
  • Picking out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
  • Inspecting items for damage according to company standards; informing supervisor of damaged items
  • Packing the products and applying labels
  • Scanning the label and putting the package on outgoing trucks
  • Log orders to keep the inventory up to date for replenishment and storage
  • Performing general warehouse duties as necessary

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: Warehouse or assembly line experience
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, detail oriented, multi-tasking, stress management, time management
