Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pulmonologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating respiratory disorders, providing comprehensive care to patients with various pulmonary conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and the ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with respiratory issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform procedures such as airway management and cardiac catheterization as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, including family planning and addiction medicine.
  • Participate in clinical trials to advance the understanding of pulmonary diseases.
  • Manage durable medical equipment (DME) for patients requiring respiratory support.
  • Educate patients and their families about disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with a valid medical license.
  • Board certification in Pulmonology or related specialty is preferred.
  • Experience in inpatient care settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with orthopedic conditions related to respiratory health is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of pulmonology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
