Job Description

This position operates packaging equipment in a food production line in an assembly process. Operates lines within quality specifications using procedures set by Company policy to ensure that final products meet high-quality standards. Works under minimal supervision and directs the work of line employees. Follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits.

Responsibilities

  • Independently runs and operates at least 5 production lines
  • Sets up line, prepares paperwork, drains line, and assures readiness for production
  • Completes required paperwork
  • Operates packaging lines with quality specifications, ensure proper coding, quality, texture, and weights
  • Maintains equipment during operation
  • Follows all Quality policies & procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
