Job Description

NTS is hiring a Warehouse Associate in the Charlottesville, VA area to support a prestigious healthcare partner. The successful candidate must pass drug tests and background checks, able to lift up to 75 pounds, and walk up to a mile daily.

Responsibilities

Receive trucks and unload merchandise.
Stack merchandise on racks.
Stock warehouse with tools.
Ensure machinery is serviced and functional.
Check in merchandise and affix labels.
Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates.
Fulfill customer orders.
Move materials off racks and package for shipment.
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials.
Follow all safety codes.
Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution.
Record amounts of materials or items received.
Perform facilities maintenance.
Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials.
Compile inventory balances and price lists.
Maintain records of all activities and processes in the storehouse.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
Inventory, Equipment Maintenance, Data Entry, and Computer Skills required.
Good communication, Organizational, Time Management, and Mathematical skills.
