Join our team as a Warehouse Technician/Transporter and be part of a company dedicated to providing top-quality supplements and innovative products. This position involves overseeing warehouse activities and transporting materials to support production.
Must be able to perform all the responsibilities of Warehouse Technicians when not performing transporting activities
Support the Production Supervisor to ensure daily production objectives are achieved according to schedule
Receiving/retrieving raw materials and finished goods while allocating to warehouse locations
Ensure the raw material inventory is rotated and used on a first in, first out basis
Maintained raw material warehouses in a safe, clean, and organized manner at all times
Support the production and shipping department by means of moving raw materials and finished goods between the warehouses
Working with the Production Supervisor to coordinate daily schedule changes
Making sure all logs (travel logs, room logs, and equipment logs are filled out appropriately both written and via ERP input
Alerting the Production Supervisor of inventory and finished goods discrepancies and assist with resolution implementation
Reporting all safety, GMP or other employee violations to the Production Supervisor
Support warehouses with daily Warehouse procedures
Perform daily and routine commercial truck safety checks (damage, ware-n-tare, fuel levels, additive levels, etc.)
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
2 years’ experience preferred but not required
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
Requires excellent communication and people-skills
Must have basic computer skills including MS Office applications: Word and Excel
Must demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary
Must be able to operate various warehouse equipment
Must maintain a good driving record at all times
Must be able to work overtime when necessary
Must be able to wear the necessary, job-related personal protective equipment
Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step and climb
