Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to lead and support the System Integration of Vehicle electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical system design and integration, preferably in rolling stock.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support System Integration of Vehicle electrical systems including communications and signaling.
  • Support the preparation of design deliverables such as CDRLs or electrical system design packages.
  • Organize and lead technical meetings with customers, suppliers, and internal parties.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Participate in problem-solving and resolution processes related to mechanical system design.
  • Prepare and update Interface Control Documents, System Integration Plans, and related documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical system designs.
  • Maintain accurate correspondence and technical meeting records.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in electrical system design and/or integration.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
  • Experience with Autocad Electrical or similar programs.
  • Ability to perform electrical inspections and read electrical drawings.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
