Job Description

Dwight School is seeking a self-directed, experienced, and energetic Upper School Spanish Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic school year. The ideal candidate should be passionate about fostering student success and diversity in teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of content and instructional pedagogies.
Utilize technology effectively in classroom instruction.
Create a safe, orderly, and engaging classroom environment.
Provide student feedback for learning improvement.
Design relevant learning activities consistent with IB program requirements.
Communicate clearly with students, parents, and school leadership.
Develop supportive relationships with colleagues and respect individual students.
Participate in school events and seek professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Education required
Master's Degree in Education preferred
Experience teaching diverse learners
Positive contribution to school community
Ability to engage with diverse backgrounds and experiences
Bring joy, kindness, maturity, and flexibility to the school environment
