Job Description

The Building Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 100 unit family residence in NYC. This role includes overseeing maintenance, repairs, tenant services, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise porter for interior and exterior maintenance
Respond to work orders promptly
Ensure compliance with safety codes
Manage preventative maintenance
Conduct inspections and manage inventory
Assist with budget development and pest control

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in similar role
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of maintenance tasks including HVAC systems
Ability to read and follow instructions
Capacity to work with deadlines and heavy equipment
