Load and unload materials from trucks and containers efficiently.
Organize and maintain the yard area, ensuring all materials are stored properly.
Operate various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and front end loaders to move materials safely.
Assist with order picking and preparing shipments for distribution.
Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the yard and warehouse environment.
Previous experience in a garden center, warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
Familiarity with order picking processes and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers safely.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
