Job Description

The Sanitation Supervisor in a dairy plant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the processing equipment and overall plant environment to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Review all documentation for legal compliance
Implement new processes for environmental and sanitation improvement
Create and review Standard Operating Procedures
Manage Master Sanitation and Preventive Maintenance program
Coordinate with Quality Assurance Team for data analysis
Continuously improve knowledge and skills
Cross train team members for proper shift coverage
Perform basic housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

Knowledge of HACCP programs, GMPs, and food safety regulations
Supervisory and leadership skills
Effective time management and communication skills
Mechanical aptitude
Proficiency in Windows Word and Excel programs
