Job Description

AESC is looking to add a HR Business Partner to our team in Florence, SC.

Responsibilities

Foster an environment of employee engagement by actively coaching and advising managers on best practices.
Identify organizational and individual training needs, develop learning programs, and provide training to employees at all levels.
Support the recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt roles, including job description development, advertisement creation, candidate screening, and interviewing.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and develop, recommend, and implement HR-related policies and procedures.
Serve as the AESC benefits relations contact for employees and liaise with external vendors to address employee inquiries.
Work closely with management on employee performance issues, compliance investigations, and corrective actions.
Track key metrics related to employee engagement, performance, and compliance, and develop action plans to close any identified gaps.
Recommend and implement new processes and procedures to continuously improve HR functions across the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
