Job Description

The Quality Assurance Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the Food Safety and Quality Management System for the plant by overseeing various food safety regulations, weight control, sanitary design, allergens, and incident management.

Responsibilities

Lead FDA regulatory compliance and inspections
Develop and maintain HACCP program
Conduct in-house quality inspections and audits
Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products
Manage QA technicians and schedules
Train new technicians in laboratory procedures
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for incidents

Qualifications

College degree in a scientific discipline
1-3 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
HACCP certification or ability to achieve it
Ability to interpret numerical data and operate test equipment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
