Job Description

Join our team at The Chefs' Warehouse as a Warehouse Worker. Responsible for various warehouse tasks including order picking, packing, sorting, shipping, and receiving to ensure facility productivity and quality goals are met.

Responsibilities

Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sort and breakdown product by SKU, quantity, and product type.
Utilize electric pallet jack and vertical forklift.
Communicate effectively with receivers, drivers, driver check-in, and forklift operators.
Adhere to proper safety practices for trailer and truck unloading process daily.
Sort and store goods in designated warehouse areas.
Responsible for proper handling of all company-provided equipment including PPE, voice equipment, etc.
Report any safety issues in the work environment promptly.
Must wear company-provided uniform.
Pick customer orders from stock and place onto pallets or shelves or move orders to the loading dock for shipment preparation.
Label pallets with identifying information when directed.
Open bales, crates, and other containers when required.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
One to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
