Job Description

Responsible for general warehouse duties and driving tasks as instructed by the USDA/Warehouse Manager and VP/Executive Director at HVA Food Bank.

Responsibilities

Deliver USDA/TEFAP commodities
Pick up donated food
Ensure proper handling of food
Maintain drivers log and daily vehicle checklist
Maintain food distribution area
Assist in warehouse maintenance
Prepare warehouse for daily operations
Unloading and recording incoming shipments
Build orders for sub sites and partner agencies
Assist in inventory management
Collaborate with community organizations
Provide staff support at fundraising events
Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of warehouse experience
Experience driving a box truck
Forklift Certification (or obtain within 90 days of employment)
Ability to lift 60 pounds
Valid Driver's License
