Job Description

TownTasks is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to perform clerical and administrative tasks in the Family Division cases. The ideal candidate will have general clerical experience and knowledge of court procedures.

Responsibilities

Performs clerical/administrative tasks, including maintenance of accurate records and scheduling hearings. Prepares and processes various documents, provides information to citizens, attorneys, and agencies, and attends court hearings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. One year of general clerical experience. Ability to type 40 words per minute. Some knowledge of court procedures and computer software programs.
