Job Description

Join our team as an Insurance Customer Support Specialist, providing remote assistance to customers in the insurance and financial sectors. This role offers competitive pay, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service via inbound contact center/telephones, addressing complex customer inquiries and escalating as necessary
  • Conduct research on customer inquiries and respond promptly to appropriate parties
  • Perform account updates and maintenance, processing requests and documenting inquiry results
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail for multiple clients according to service level agreements
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced staff while supporting day-to-day operations in the customer service area

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two or more years of customer service or telephone experience, including financial/investment/insurance or banking experience requiring FINRA certification
  • Proficiency with organizational functions, help desk software, and telephone technology
  • FINRA 6 or 7 minimum Certification required at hire (currently registered or U5 within 2-year FINRA window and in good standing)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
