Global Trauma Research (GTR) is expanding its programming to provide culturally responsive trauma, mental health, and education services to Haitian women who have experienced trauma. We are seeking a Haitian Creole speaking Developer to strategically plan, develop, and implement a national health program for Haitian women.
1. Travel throughout the nation (especially between NYC, Boston, San Diego, and Miami)
2. Develop a needs assessment and complete a landscape analysis
3. Develop, create and facilitate research focus groups every six months
4. Develop a strategic plan to inform the programming
5. Form a coalition of medical providers and layworkers
6. Develop national hubs in NYC, Boston, San Diego, and Miami
7. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance interest
8. Develop, write and present proposals
9. Create campaign messaging and training videos
10. Help develop and execute events and programs
11. Cultivate relationships with partners
12. Oversee and facilitate training of providers and layworkers
13. Create 'Safe Haven Network' of resources
14. Hold workshops for healthcare providers
15. Create open access package for healthcare workers and community members
1. Ability to speak, write, and read in Haitian Creole
2. Master's in Education or Counseling required; PhD preferred
3. 5+ years of nonprofit experience
4. Capacity for extensive travel
5. Previous exposure to development
