TownTasks is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to support a newly launched program in workforce development. This role involves assisting participants in gaining training and employment opportunities, with the potential for growth into a management position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop outreach initiatives to recruit program participants
  • Identify and build relationships with organizations for employment opportunities
  • Offer case management services and create action plans for participants
  • Provide workshops in resume writing, job search, and interview techniques
  • Participate in networking events and community outreach

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or Human Resources
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in workforce development
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in office technology and bilingual in Spanish/English
