Job Description

The Charge Audit Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate billing charges are captured, documented, and reimbursed in compliance with regulations. They conduct audits, identify revenue opportunities, provide training, and respond to audits.

Responsibilities

Conduct reviews to identify billing issues and lost revenue opportunities
Work with departments to address audit findings and implement best practices
Analyze billing errors and omissions, ensuring timely corrections

Qualifications

5 years healthcare billing experience or health information/coding study
Knowledge of audit principles, CPT/HCPCS codes, and regulatory requirements
Strong Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook skills
