Job Description

Join our dynamic Statistics and Data Analytics team at TownTasks. We are looking for a Statistician II to work onsite in East Hartford, CT, collaborating with various teams to optimize decision making under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and analysts using classical and modern statistical learning methods
Communicate effectively with non-statisticians and engage in engineering discussions with all levels of the organization
Train engineers in various systems and technologies including Minitab, R, Python and survival analysis
Exhibit proven knowledge in High Dimensional Data Analysis, Bayesian Methods, Survival Analysis, Data Management, General Linear Models, Probability, Hypothesis Testing, Experimental Design, Categorical Data Analysis, Statistical Process Control
Participate in external and internal learning opportunities
Relocation provided

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree & Master's in Statistics (Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Science)
3+ years of Statistics experience with an advanced degree
Must be a U.S. person/permanent resident 'Green Card' holder
