Support various administrative functions of Claims Department including handling mail, taking loss notices, recording information, and preparing claim-related correspondence. Perform daily cash reconciliation, issue stop pays, and review check/draft requests for adequate documentation.
Sort and process incoming claim-related correspondence. Provide customer service for claim reporting and inquiries. Enter claim information into various systems. Handle special documents and claim correspondence support. Review and approve payee endorsements. Handle claim checks and drafts. Maintain contact information for affiliated companies.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Two or more years of work experience. Basic math and personal computer skills required. Preferred knowledge in insurance principles, legal terminology, and investigative techniques. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
