Job Description

The Adoption Resource Caseworker at TownTasks will work to connect youth in need of permanent homes with adoptive families through effective recruitment and support services.

Responsibilities

Identifying youth for referrals to the adoption program
Developing adoption readiness assessments and recruitment plans
Coordinating preplacement visits and transition plans
Providing ongoing support to adoptive families
Attending educational opportunities related to adoption

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field, MSW preferred
Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in child welfare
Knowledge of foster care, adoption, trauma, and legal permanency
Familiarity with state child welfare rules and court systems
