Join our team as a Delivery and Warehouse Associate at our Pelham Outlet delivering high-end luxury furniture with care in customer homes, while managing warehouse operations and supporting showroom operations behind the scenes.
Receives and inspects all incoming freight and processes into inventory. Delivers customer orders. Assists with annual inventory and periodic cycle counts. Tags all floor stock to brand standards before moving merchandise to showroom. Ensures completion for stock orders to be received, tagged, and placed on the floor. Verifies correct product and accessories for delivery. Ensures all merchandise is assembled and in satisfactory condition prior to delivery. Loads, secures, and wraps product safely for pick-up and/or delivery. Assists with merchandise returns. Reports any quality issues to store management immediately. Adheres to warehouse safety measures according to company policy and guidelines. Oversees store maintenance as needed. Assists in floor plan set of showrooms. Adheres to all safety guidelines for warehouse and delivery safety.
Must be 21 years of age or older. Four years of experience in warehouse or retail stock operations preferred. Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. Good attendance and demonstrated work ethic required. Proficient computer skills including knowledge of MS Office and iPad required; Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system(s) preferred. Ability to take lead in deliveries and perform heavy lifting unassisted and as team lift. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to perform warehouse duties such as: picking, packing, sorting, shipping, and receiving with a pallet jack. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols. Possession of valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) with ability to obtain a CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle) certification. Ability to work hours including frequent weekend hours and additional hours during special events.
