Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Attendant to perform various warehouse tasks in a leading fire protection supplier. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and packing processes is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive warehousing tasks such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling
  • Operate forklift to pick orders, receive stock, and load/unload materials
  • Pick orders using RF technology or paper pick tickets
  • Utilize JDE operating system for shipping and receiving functions
  • Lift boxes of material, pack materials correctly, and operate shrink wrap machine
  • Complete training curriculum, follow SOP's, and use PPE
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism
  • Handle additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months in a warehouse or material handler position
  • Basic keypad/keyboard skills
  • Experience with RF technology in bar coding environment helpful
  • 1 year of multitasking experience under time constraints
  • Basic arithmetic skills using whole numbers and decimals
