Job Description

The Sales Director works within the Business Development team within Epiq?s Corporate Restructuring division. This role has responsibility for all aspects of sales and marketing strategy for the unit and will identify as well as drive new business opportunities for the segment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, select and strategically market to key prospects to begin the sales process.
  • Attend industry conferences, events, and Epiq-sponsored client events to develop relationships and gather industry feedback.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate list of prospects/clients as well as related activities on a weekly basis within our Corporate Restructuring Management system.
  • Educate clients and prospects regarding all of our corporate restructuring services via on-site client visits, conferences, events, etc. Build and communicate an understanding of Epiq?s other service offerings (i.e., Class Action and E-Discovery) to facilitate cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide personal support/sponsorship for select key client relationships.
  • Schedule and hold meetings with key decision makers at targeted high-profile accounts, leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones with key decision-makers and influencers within targeted debtor?s counsel, financial advisory firms, investment bankers and private equity groups that deliver on revenue expectations.
  • Identify key trends to identify top prospects and proactively pursue new business based upon predictions of future bankruptcy-related activity.
  • Help build the messaging to these top prospects that incorporates Epiq?s capabilities in a holistic enterprise offering.
  • Collaborate with key executives and business partners to develop an integrated business development strategy.
  • Regularly and proactively communicate to segment?s leadership team on the status of key projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to construct an integrated campaign to open doors and successfully secure appointments with key individuals or groups.
  • Develop and maintain an operating environment in which proper quality controls for execution, accuracy and timeliness of work are practiced and consistently measured.
  • Ensure that qualitative and quantitative service performance goals and metrics are in place within the Business Development team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
