Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Senior Diagnostic Engineer with expertise in commercial vehicle systems, CAN communication protocols, and electrical/electronics development. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. A MSEE degree is preferred, along with strong communication and the ability to work independently onsite in Dublin, VA.

Responsibilities

Senior engineer knowledge of various commercial vehicle systems and functions
Knowledge of commercial vehicle CAN communication protocols and CAN analysis tools such as Vector CANalyzer
Knowledge and experience with automotive electrical and electronics development and diagnostics tools
Experience with last generation sensor technology
Experience with wiring harness manufacturing and repair tools
Knowledge in commercial vehicle EE troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and with minimum direction are a must
Hands on abilities a must
5+years of experience in commercial vehicle system verification and/or EE system design
MSEE degree desired
Ability to work fully onsite in Dublin, VA and travel locally
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
