Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Carteret, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sorting packages, training temporary workers, coordinating delivery operations, and maintaining warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities

Sort packages by zip code for delivery by DSP.
Supervise temporary workers during the sorting process.
Train temporary workers in sorting procedures and best practices.
Communicate with DSPs to resolve delivery issues.
Identify and establish potential partnerships with new DSPs.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Coordinate truck dispatch and ensure smooth delivery operations.
Design efficient delivery routes for drivers to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
Track and manage exception cases, including damaged, lost, or delayed parcels.
Work closely with relevant teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
Proficiency in operating clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management purposes.
Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Fluent in English and Chinese.
