Job Description

TownTasks is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating pick up and delivery of products, sorting and stocking products, preparing orders for delivery, and maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Coordinating pick up and delivery of product/material at various locations.
Pulling product from carpet bays.
Sorting and stocking of products coming into the warehouse.
Pull, prepare and fill orders and material for delivery.
Keep area clean including sweeping, mopping, cleaning showroom and bathrooms, warehouse areas, and maintaining cleanliness of the trucks.
Turning off and locking out equipment when not in use.
Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
Represent the company to the public in a positive, professional, and responsible manner.
Follow company chain of command in a responsible and supportive manner.
Any other duties as assigned by the Admin staff, Warehouse Lead, or Owner.

Qualifications

Experience using a hand pallet jack.
Valid driver license and clean driving record.
Able to operate a forklift and obtain Forklift certification.
High school diploma or GED.
1-2 years related work experience.
Ability to pay attention to details, take initiative and problem solve.
Well organized and able to manage time effectively.
Good communication skills.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
Proven ability to effectively function in a multi-faceted company in a teamwork manner.
