Job Description

Join The Settlement Home for Children as a Full Time Relief Youth Care Counselor and be part of an innovative non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of children in the Austin community.

Responsibilities

Give guidance and supervision to implement treatment goals
Plan, implement, supervise, and teach leisure, recreational, and enrichment activities
Ensure documentation of cottage life, incidents, behavior, medical needs, and treatment observations
Plan and carry out activities for residents when out of school

Qualifications

At least 21 years old
Some college preferred
Experience with children or adolescents preferred
Pass an FBI fingerprint check and drug screen
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
