Oversee service delivery to students under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Collaborate with district counselor coordinators and school-based 504 coordinators to align practices and procedures. Provide support in the coordination of 504 policies and procedures. Lead coaching and training for site-based 504 coordinators. Implement district procedures for federal mandates regarding 504.
Assist the Director with daily department operations. Collaborate on decisions related to student discipline, safety, and wellness. Research, design, implement, and monitor prevention and intervention programs. Supervise and evaluate department staff. Maintain student information confidentiality. Consult and direct staff on student conduct and attendance. Facilitate meetings with students, families, and school staff. Manage a caseload of 'intensive supervision' students. Build partnerships with community support resources.
Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Valid Colorado driver's license. Ability to pass background check. Minimum three years working with at-risk adolescents. Coordinator experience preferred. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
