Job Description

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Warehouse Security Guard to ensure the security of the warehouse/distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the premises, responding to alarms, and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.

Responsibilities

Monitoring surveillance/camera equipment.
Keeping a record of all visitors.
Patrolling the premises regularly.
Performing security checks of designated areas.
Responding to alarms within the warehouse.
Observing and reporting suspicious activities.
Coordinating with law enforcement.
Assisting with compliance of safety directives.
Answering phone calls and tracking yard management services.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous security experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of security and safety protocols.
Ability to operate emergency equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn and enforce safety procedures.
