Job Description

Seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, particularly in the Not-For-Profit (NFP) sector, and will play a key role in providing assurance services to clients.

Responsibilities

Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
Conduct detailed audits of financial statements for Not-For-Profit organizations and other clients, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
Prepare and review working papers and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their questions and concerns while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Stay current with auditing standards and best practices, ensuring the audit team is informed of any changes that may impact engagements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent professional certification is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on Not-For-Profit organizations preferred.
Strong understanding of audit and assurance methodologies, standards, and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
