Job Description

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 7 to 11 years of experience to join our team in New York City or New Jersey.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of high-quality software solutions using Java 8, Java 11, and higher versions.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture using Spring & Spring Boot.
  • Oversee the integration of various systems using MQ and Kafka.
  • Provide expertise in Mongo DB and Oracle for efficient database management.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior developers, stay updated with industry trends, and contribute to team success.

Qualifications

  • 7 to 11 years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong understanding of J2EE for enterprise-level applications.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and CI/CD.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
