Job Description
Seeking an experienced Senior Wireless Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to agencies with various mobile and wireless initiatives.
Responsibilities
Provide support for daily ServiceNow incidents/requests related to mobile and wireless services.
Work closely with carrier account teams and wireless personnel to resolve customer service issues.
Collaborate with OTI's Cost Recovery Group (CRG) for mobile order approvals.
Liaise with City agencies to resolve service issues, including activations, cancellations, porting, service plan changes, and equipment updates.
Perform user-level technical support, troubleshoot communication issues, and follow up with vendors on new equipment orders.
Maintain inventory control functions, which may include lifting and transporting mobile equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Configure and activate a wide range of mobile devices, including iPhones, Androids, PC cards, and MiFis.
Perform Mobile Device Management (MDM) tasks, including device provisioning, policy deployment, and enrollment troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with NYC Cyber Command Standards for security, document transmission, and digital signatures.
Manage multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and work independently or collaboratively as needed.
Qualifications
Carrier Portal Management: Experience with Apple ABM, Android KNOX, and wireless carrier portals.
Enterprise Architecture: Strong knowledge of enterprise or solution architecture in wireless environments.
Technical Troubleshooting: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for mobile devices and wireless networks.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Security Compliance: Knowledge of technology standards related to security and digital signatures.
