Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to designated locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various vehicles, including box trucks.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles for the delivery of goods to customers and businesses.
Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks.
Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and customer signatures.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
Experience in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading products.
Proficient in route driving with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred.
Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks.
Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities, including time management and route optimization.
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus; experience with manual transmission vehicles is also beneficial.
