Job Description

TownTasks is seeking a Director of Supportive Services for the Early Childhood Education Program to provide leadership and oversight of services to families and children. This role involves managing health, mental health, parent engagement, and community engagement services to support the well-being of families and children.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise family, mental health, and community engagement services
  • Develop and maintain client monitoring systems
  • Support health and mental health services for children and families
  • Identify and address gaps in support models
  • Enforce policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with management staff to meet program goals
  • Supervise day-to-day operations in the absence of the Director
  • Participate in program assessments and audits
  • Provide training and support to staff in identifying children's educational needs
  • Coordinate recruitment of children with disabilities
  • Monitor implementation of Individualized Education Plans
  • Lead transition services for children with disabilities
  • Supervise Mental Health Coordinator
  • Maintain compliance with program standards
  • Provide reflective supervision

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education or special education
  • Teaching license valid for early childhood services
  • Knowledge of special education policies and regulations
  • 5-7 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with evidence-based family interventions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
