Job Description

TownTasks is seeking a highly organized Operations Manager to oversee importing, warehousing, order fulfillment, and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, warehouse staff, logistics, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with overseas manufacturers for timely production and shipment of furniture.
  • Oversee import logistics, including customs clearance, duties, and tariffs.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and implement tracking systems.
  • Develop quality control standards for products and conduct inspections.
  • Supervise warehouse operations, safety, and order processing logistics.
  • Monitor operational costs, identify bottlenecks, and lead team development.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of operations, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing best practices, and freight logistics.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, WMS, and international supply chains.
  • Problem-solving skills, cost reduction focus, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, inventory management, and supply chain.
