Job Description

Join our team as a Social Worker providing support to the Suicide Prevention Coordinator and Mental Health Service Line at Albany VA Medical Center.

Responsibilities

Identify and support Veterans at high-risk for suicide
Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychotherapy
Respond to crisis situations and provide case management
Contribute to program evaluation and community outreach

Qualifications

Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited institution
Licensure to practice at the master's degree level
Proficiency in English language
