Seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
Collaborate with other educators and specialists to provide comprehensive support for students with disabilities.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to meet individual learning goals.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Certification in Special Education is preferred.
Experience working with children with disabilities, including those in private school settings or daycare environments.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, families, and colleagues.
A compassionate approach to teaching that emphasizes patience, understanding, and encouragement for all learners.
