Job Description

The Insurance Verification Coordinator is responsible for verifying insurance details and maintaining relationships with third-party vendors. They ensure timely verification of patient insurance, act as a liaison between insurance providers, staff, and patients, and assist patients in understanding treatment costs.

Responsibilities

  • Verify patient insurance details and investigate missing information
  • Maintain relationships with third-party insurance verification vendors
  • Act as a liaison between insurance providers, staff, and patients
  • Assist patients in understanding treatment costs
  • Update and maintain patient insurance information in OMSVision
  • Adhere to deadlines and prioritize work efficiently

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree or vocational school training preferred
  • At least one year of relevant experience required
  • Knowledge of medical and dental terminology
  • Experience with Dental Practice Management Software
