Join our team at TownTasks as a Trade Surveillance Strategist (VP) in New York. We are dedicated to solving complex problems that safeguard against risks in global markets.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with global teams to design, develop and maintain quantitative models to detect suspicious trading behavior.
Conduct risk assessments and fine-tune surveillance systems for optimal precision/recall.
Utilize quantitative techniques to develop signals and validate accuracy in detecting fraudulent trading activity.
Drive end-to-end Machine Learning projects with large-scale data.
Partner with key stakeholders to uphold quality standards of surveillance analytics.

Qualifications

PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
6+ years of experience in Capital Markets.
Exceptional programming skills in Java, C++, or Python.
Understanding of automated trading execution protocols.
Proficiency in mathematical modelling and quantitative analysis.
Experience with data analysis and/or machine learning systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
