Responsibilities

  • Prepares for and conduct parent and student conferencing according to school policy.
  • Student instruction in various modalities.
  • Collects data and appropriate work samples.
  • Plans and conduct appointments with parents as needed.
  • Assists regular education teachers with specially designed instruction when necessary.
  • Provides support for Special Education student achievement.
  • Arranges training for inclusionary practices.
  • Assists with planning for classroom and testing accommodations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work and interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree and valid state certification.
  • Minimum three years of teaching or counseling experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Student Information System.
