Job Description

Penguin Random House LLC is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for 2nd Shift Shipping/Receiving at their Westminster, Maryland Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

Works well with people
Monitors the flow of work and plans effective personnel placement
Executes daily priorities set by manager
Monitors employee activities
Promotes a safe work environment
Submits weekly productivity and labor reports
Maintains employee attendance and disciplinary records
Participates in policy development and enforcement
Resolves departmental problems
Completes special assignments as requested
Must have the ability to lead and motivate employees

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of a warehouse environment
Good attendance record
Shipping and/or Receiving knowledge a plus
Prior Supervisory experience a plus
Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Organizational and problem-solving abilities
PC Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
