Job Description

Puzzle Pieces is an approved Early Intervention program in NYC seeking Special Education Teachers to provide home based Special Instruction and ABA services to children aged 12 months to 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Students 12 Months of age to 3 years old
  • Travel to students' home or Day care.
  • Provide Special Instruction or ABA methods to eligible students!
  • Collect ABA data.
  • Daily Session notes
  • Quarterly Progress reports
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IFSPs) for student
  • Create engaging lesson plans that accommodate the unique needs of each student
  • Provide instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet students' diverse needs
  • Collaborate with parents, and other team members, to ensure students success.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in special education
  • State certification in Special Education (Students with Disabilities (Birth - Grade 2)
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively
  • Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Skilled in tutoring students with diverse learning styles
