Job Description

Join Children of America as a Lead Teacher for our early childhood education program. Our lead teachers are responsible for planning lessons and executing our curriculum for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.

Responsibilities

Institute developmentally appropriate curriculum
Handle demands of infants and toddlers in different stages
Create a positive learning environment
Ensure a safe structured learning environment
Plan daily lessons supporting social, emotional, physical, & intellectual growth
Communicate professionally with parents and staff
Use technology to deliver child progress to parents
Present appropriate expectations based on child's age and developmental level

Qualifications

1 year of experience in licensed childcare preferred
Flexible in challenging situations
Strong organizational skills
Ability to build strong relationships
Commitment to professional development
Meet all state requirements for position
