Job Description

The Remote Laborer performs manual tasks to support facility maintenance, construction, and improvement at Red Dog Mine. Duties are to be carried out in alignment with NMS' values.

Responsibilities

Operate a biogenetic compostable waste system creating Bio-Char
Perform pre-ignition and post-ignition operations for the waste system
Sort and place compostable trash, remove snow, and assist in warehousing duties
Operate small equipment like fork lifts, transport trash to disposal area
Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to work in team, make decisions independently, and meet physical requirements
Must speak, understand, read, and write English
