Job Description

Join our team at Ocean State Job Lot as a Warehouse Associate (Induction) responsible for placing cases of merchandise on the conveyor and induction systems while ensuring labels are properly applied.

Responsibilities

Complete and submit daily productivity sheets accurately
Place cases on conveyor belt or induction line
Apply labels to cases for easy reading on conveyor system
Load and unload freight in a safe and efficient manner
Sort and stack pallets and cartons based on work order
Consolidate merchandise accurately and safely
Maintain clean work area meeting safety and productivity standards
Prepare pallets for induction and discard waste
Comply with standard operating procedures and OSHA standards
Operate equipment to move pallets if necessary

Qualifications

Pass a basic math test
English speaking, reading, and comprehension skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Learn to use a radio frequency scanner
Operate powered industrial equipment and obtain license
Meet productivity, quality, safety, housekeeping, and attendance standards
