Job Description

The Lead Infant Teacher supports the Director by creating a caring and safe environment for children, developing educational activities, and fostering positive relationships with parents.

Responsibilities

Incorporate curriculum + activities and encourage participation by children.
Actively engage in activities and manage classroom materials.
Maintain communication with parents through progress reports.
Encourage self-help and good hygiene in children.
Ensure smooth daily transitions from home to child care center.
Follow center policies and state regulations.
Maintain personal professional development plan.

Qualifications

Must have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
High energy and ability to work well with others.
Strong communication skills and basic computer skills.
Understanding of child development.
Leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
Clear background check and health screening.
